Harvard Square Pavilion O.K.; Boston Parking-Ticket Probability

MID-CAMBRIDGE—The new Forbes Plaza plan calls for seven more feet of outdoor space and no addition to the Smith Campus Center's 10th floor: "The board's four-to-one vote comes after Harvard planners and architects met with the zoning board twice this summer in attempts to receive its approval, but a vote was delayed both times after pushback from local residents." DOWNTOWN BOSTON—It's apparently worst around lunchtime during the workweek: "No place in Boston attracts more parking tickets than Beacon and Charles streets in Beacon Hill, according to a Globe review of the city's 6.8 million parking tickets over the last five fiscal years that found clear patterns in the way Boston hands out violations."
