Fenway Park's Giant Snowboarding Ramp: the Latest Rendering

New, 2 comments

Everyone's favorite tiny ballpark is getting a humongous snowboarding and free-skiing ramp. It's a key part of Fenway hosting a U.S. Grand Prix tour event in mid-February. Above is the latest rendering of what the slide will look like.

The ramp will run to 140 feet at its peak. That's higher than Fenway's lights, never mind its scoreboard (or the Green Monster, which it outstretches by more than 100 feet). Tickets to "Polartec Big Air at Fenway" go on sale today at noon. Now whatever happened to that giant water slide?
