The 10-room, 4,024-square-foot penthouse at 168 Beacon Street in Back Bay slipped quietly on the market in early October asking a somewhat gobsmacking price. That tag did not stop the 5-BR, 4.5-BA with three(!) deeded parking spaces from trading rather quickly. A deal is already pending for Unit 3 at 168 Beacon, which also includes a private deck with sweeping city and river views. The penthouse was asking $7,775,000 when the deal was struck.
