Real estate research site Zumper is out with its latest monthly rental report, which includes the Greater Boston market. The data is based on all Zumper-tracked homes either available for rent or vacant in October, so it's a decent snapshot of the rents out there. To no one's surprise, Cambridge's busy, busy Kendall Square is again the priciest area to rent a 1-BR, with a median monthly cost of $3,480. The Chinatown-Leather District sphere is the priciest for 2-BRs with a median of $4,570. Click to enlarge the above chart. And for a taste of Greater Boston's place nationally...
