Here's the Tag That Could Set a Greater Boston Sales Record

The clue in our latest Real Estate Jeopardy was: The $2,395,000 price tag for a recently listed 5-BR, 3.5-BA house could set an all-time sales record for this municipality.

The answer is: What is Somerville? Yes, indeed, the 5,525-square-foot single-family at 137 Sycamore Street debuted just before Thanksgiving for that magic amount, which puts it well within striking distance of the current Somerville price record-holder, 32 Foskett Street. That converted two-family went for $1,725,000 in April. Stay tuned and thanks for playing.
