The house at 21 Borland Street in Brookline may very well be the most expensive rental in Greater Boston outside of Boston itself. The 3-BR, 3-BA, 4,000-square-foot spread unfolds in open floor plans and beneath cathedral ceilings. Plus, hey, there's a yard! It's also near the Hawes Street Green Line stop, if you feel that would help you in this weather. Which reminds us: Snow removal is included in the rent. The 10-room spread wants $15,000 a month. Curiously enough, 21 Borland was asking a mere $13K about 15 months ago. It's a landlord's market out there.
