Hub homes have for eons now been getting a lot more than they ask for and the trend shows little sign of abating. Case in point: the elderly Victorian at 26 Lowell Street in West Cambridge. The 4-BR, 2.5-BA with parking for two hit the sales market in early December for $1,350,000. The 1,960-square-foot house closed barely a month later for $1,485,000. That's a full $135,000 over the asking price. Cambridge is like that sometimes. Happy Tuesday.
