Among Priciest Cities, Boston's Rent Drops Are the Steepest

There is some good news in the latest Zumper data dump re: apartment rents (check out last week's rundown of rents by Hub neighborhood): Of the three most expensive U.S. metro areas for tenants, Boston experienced the steepest median-rent drops. See the handy chart above. The median rent for all apartment sizes was down more than 13 percent from the quarter before, in fact. Perhaps a function of the Luxury Glutpocalypse? Meanwhile, in San Francisco and New York rents were either steady or down only slightly.
