In a Boston of Ancient Townhouses, How About One From 2011?

The 1,750-square-foot, three-floor townhouse at 15 Hancock Street in Charlestown hit the sales market less than a week ago. It's a sprightly enough affair, done in a contemporary design and with three of its four bedrooms angled into one floor (there are also three and a half bathrooms). Parking is right there in the ground-floor garage and there are neighbors only on one side. What really makes 15 Hancock unique among Boston townhouses, however, is its age: It's (relative) new construction, dating from just 2011 rather than, say, 1811. The whole shebang is asking $1,079,000.
