The river-facing wonderland that is Unit 63/64 on the sixth and seventh floors of 330 Beacon Street in Back Bay hit the sales market in the early autumn of 2014 for $4,500,000. It boasted phenomenal stats: 14 rooms and 3,737 square feet; elevator access to a private landing on the sixth floor; the library with wet bar for some reason; 38 feet of balcony; and a gobsmacking 56 feet of picture windows along a single wall. And yet. Down came the price in a major way. The 5-BR, 3.5-BA closed on Monday for $3,850,000—a full $650K off its asking price.
