Judging by its sales numbers, Porter 156 in busy, busy East Boston is either one of the Hub's most popular or least popular condos. (We're going to go with most popular.) Yet such notoriety does not necessarily translate into hefty deals. Another case in point: the trade of the 1-BR, 1-BA Unit 134. It hit the market in early February for $399,900 and came with a parking space. The 815-square-foot spread's capaciousness, and its in-unit W/D and voluminous natural light, were not sweetener enough, apparently. A deal for the condo closed Friday for $385,000—or nearly $15K off the asking.
