Beacon Hill's 60 Chestnut Street last traded in March 2013 for $3,315,000 after massive price-chops (it had originally been listed for more than $4M). The new owner redid the Federalist townhouse with bones in the 1820s, updating it with such flourishes as that bathtub next to a working fireplace and below a flat-screen TV. That particular bathroom, one of four and a half, is part of a master suite that takes up the entire third floor. There's also a private deck. It's all newly on the market through Coldwell Banker. The 3,282-square-foot spread this time wants $5,650,000—or $1,721 and change a square foot. Which doesn't seem like that much anymore.
