SOUTH BOSTON—Around 700 housing units, most of them apartments, would be plunked on a six-block site at Old Colony Avenue and Dorchester Street, according to newly unveiled plans: "The still-unnamed project also would incorporate 76,000 square feet of ground-level retail space, including a 20,000-square-foot-plus grocery store, and a 1-acre central outdoor public gathering space."
