Back in mid-January, we told you about the two newly constructed condos carved out of Back Bay's 245 Commonwealth Avenue. One, Unit 2, was a penthouse spread over 4,390 square feet and asking $8,650,000. The other, Unit 1 (naturally), was a 3,775-square-foot 3-BR, 3.5-BA with an astounding four parking spaces and asking $6,995,000. Both were freshly listed as of January by Coldwell Banker and now one of them has sold. After not even 100 days officially on the market, Unit 1, the smaller of the pair, sold for $7,050,000—or a full $55K over its asking price (its interior is pictured herein). Unit 2 is still up for grabs.
