"Same story... My husband and I bid 20K over on a one-bedroom condo (565 sq. ft) in Coolidge Corner. We thought it was a lock, because who bids 20K over the asking price, then someone paid 80K over in cash. Then we bid on a second one (same building), this time at our absolute max, which was 25K over. That time another investor came in 100K (insert expletive!?!) over in cash. We make too much to buy the 'affordable housing' options and we don't make nearly enough to outbid foreign investors. I guess we'll be renting forever." - Is this you?
