"Until rents go down I don't think you'll see many places go up for sale. People are making huge profits renting out their condos rather than selling them. Plus they likely locked in incredibly low refi rates, another reason to hold rather than sell. We bought a condo in Boston last year around this time, and with our low mortgage rate we plan on keeping the place until we die, whether we live in it or rent it out.
