Here Comes Boston's Biggest New Apartment Tower of 2015

New, 11 comments

The 398-unit AVA Theater District in downtown Boston hit the drawing boards as far back as 2011, and construction on its cantilevered design got under way in 2013. Its units are rolling out right now, marking the biggest apartment debut this year in a city teeming with big apartment debuts.

The thoroughly amenity-ed building (it's got both a bike-repair room and an electric-car-charging station) does not come cheap. A 685-square-foot 1-BR is asking $2,950 a month as of this coming Friday (its floorplan is above). A 666-square-foot studio available the same day wants $2,875. Generally, the AVA Theater District's studios start at $2,564; its 1-BRs at $2,900; and its 2-BRs at $3,875. Many are not available until the fall.
