HUBWIDE—Here are some options for the long weekend, from Memorial Day brunch to dining in and around Logan Airport if you're traveling.

SOUTH ENDBanyan Bar + Refuge, an "Asian-inspired gastropub" from the team behind The Gallows and Blackbird Doughnuts (along with Phillip Tang from East by Northeast), will open in July in the former Hamersley's Bistro space.

CHESTNUT HILL—Construction is underway at the first Massachusetts location of iconic New Haven pizzeria Pepe's, and it's on track to open this fall.

UNION SQUARE—The Bread & Salt Hospitality team will open its first permanent restaurant, Juliet, in the former Sherman Cafe space in Somerville later this year. It'll feature lots of grab-and-go options as well as full-service dining, and breakfast won't be "an after-thought."
