Only last week we were gabbing about the wine-cellared man-cave in the townhouse at 14 Rutland Square. Well, its opposite neighbor has now joined it on the sales market. Yes, the five-story, 3,963-square-foot townhouse at 13 Rutland Square dropped at the tail end of April. The 10-room, five-fireplace Venetian Gothic pile comes with "historically correct antique knobs," according to the Luxury Homes listing, and new flooring to boot. There are also two radiantly heated parking spaces. The whole shebang last traded in August 2010 for $2,150,000. Thirteen Rutland is now asking $4,599,000. What a difference five years and some upkeep make.
