Cambridge Loft 'Ideal for Art Collections' Trades for Way Over

Back in March we told you about the newly listed Unit 2 at 75 Richdale Avenue near Porter Square in Cambridge. The capacious triplex (the Hammond listing said it was "ideal for art collections and large libraries") unfolds over more than 2,900 square feet and comes with three full bathrooms as well as a master suite that consumes the entire third level. The nine-room spread, which comes with off-street parking, had been asking $1,275,000. It found a buyer and the deal for it closed Tuesday. Unit 2 ended up going for a very precise $1,409,210. That's more than $134K off the asking.
