Meeting on Dorchester's DotBlock; Brookline as No. 1 Suburb

DORCHESTER—There is a public meeting this evening re: the proposed DotBlock development at Dorchester Avenue and Hancock Street. [BRA/Curbed Boston]

BROOKLINE—A new survey says the town is the best suburb in the entire U.S. (we're shocked, too—our money was on Somerville): "Brookline was levied an A+ in all categories except housing, for which it received an A, and criminal & safety and weather, for both of which it received a B. Brookline was the only Massachusetts community to make the national ranking list, taking the number one spot no less. The remaining four of the top five suburbs in the U.S. were split between two each from New York and California." [BostInno]
