JAMAICA PLAIN—Here's a look at The Frogmore's opening menu. The "lowcountry" restaurant, featuring cuisine from coastal Georgia and South Carolina, will open this summer, courtesy of the Fairsted Kitchen team.
BOSTON/CAMBRIDGE/SOMERVILLE/MEDFORD—Harvard Square's Santouka Ramen, the only local outpost of the large Japan-based chain, has expanded its menu (previously, it consisted solely of four types of ramen; now there are appetizers, rice combos and more). Plus, it's eying a second location, this one in Boston's Financial District. In other expansion news, Dave's Fresh Pasta is headed to the Tufts campus in Medford with more of a sit-down operation.

READING—Biltmore & Main, a sibling to Local 149 in Southie and The Biltmore in Newton, will open in Reading this summer. Executive chef Richard Doucette is an alum of Tavern Road and L'Espalier.
