The 3,736-square-foot townhouse at 17 West Cedar Street in Beacon Hill dropped on the sales market just over two weeks ago. It last traded for $1,525,000 way back in April 1997—or approximately 160 years after it was first built. Since that trade, it has been completely renovated and left with flourishes such as humidification and sound systems as well as a hot tub out back. There's also an elevator, central air and a wine cellar. The nine-room, four-fireplace spread has already found a buyer, with a deal pending at an asking price of $5,195,000. It's shaping up to be the season of fast townhouse sales. · What a Redone 1830s Beacon Hill Townhouse Looks Like [Curbed Boston]
