South End TH Comes with Everything But the Roof Deck

The eight-room, 2,226-square-foot townhouse at 145 Appleton Street in the South End comes with all kinds of flourishes, including a gas fireplace, a study that could convert into a fourth bedroom and a sizable back deck. It does not, however, come with a roof deck. That's on you (or perhaps you can negotiate its construction pre-close). Listing broker Nick Hanneman tells us that the seller does plan to build out the roof deck pre-close. When it is built out, it will provide fantastic downtown vus. How much does the newly listed spread want regardless? One-forty-five Appleton is asking $2,595,000 through Robert Paul Properties. It last traded in March 2005 for for $1,490,000. That was one recession ago, so let's see what happens.
