Just after the new year we told you about the gut-rehabbed 3-BR, 3-BA, 2,110-square-foot house at 4 Juniper Terrace near Roxbury's game-change-y Dudley Square. It had dropped on the sales market in November 2014, offering not only its dimensions but flourishes such as three patios, five skylights and arched ceilings upstairs, not to mention rustic touches in the surrounding yardage, vestiges of its nineteenth-century past as a farmstead. The whole shebang originally wanted $799,000, but that price had already descended to $777,000 by January. More price-chops followed and 4 Juniper finally traded for $645,000 in a deal that closed Friday. That is a full $154,000 off the original asking price and it gives hope to Hub home-hunter everywhere.
