The High Victorian Gothic building at 28 Seaverns Avenue in Jamaica Plain went up in 1873 as a precinct house and jail. It has long since been converted to residential use (and listed on the National Register of Historic Places since early 1988). Every now and then a listing drops that provides a peek inside the former District 13 Police Station.
