Back in early April we introduced you to the 30 1- and 2-BR condos under development at 197 Washington Street off happening Somerville's happening Union Square. The new complex, dubbed 197 Union Square (of course) by developer Cathartes, includes a roof terrace, a fitness center and a so-called "solar lounge" as well as parking available separately for purchase. Condo sales started just over a week ago with 1-BRs asking $449,000 and 2-BRs asking $660,000.
The Collaborative Companies, the marketing firm for 197 Union Square, tells us that the complex is already 30 percent sold (or 10 units spoken for). Deals have yet to close so we don't know the final prices yet. Stay tuned.
