Allston's 40 Malvern Street Is Now Officially on Its Way

New, 7 comments

Developer the Hamilton Company hosted a groundbreaking Monday for the planned six-story building at 40 Malvern Street in Brighton's Allston's Packard's Corner. The project is expected to transform what was a parking lot and a house into a six-story apartment complex with 48 units.

All of the apartments will have two bedrooms and two full bathrooms; and will average 900 square feet. Top-floor spreads are expected to have Charles River vus besides, and Hamilton touts the presence of off-street parking as well as easy Green Line access. And the rents? Those are expected to start at $2,600 a month. September 2016 is the estimated completion date.
