The South End's Ink Block is one of the bigger new Boston residential complexes in recent years. It has grown from a collection of three apartment buildings to include at least two condo developments and a first-of-its-kind-for-the-city hotel. There is also a copious amount of retail and other uses mixed in. But! Speaking of the apartments: Tucked into a release about the Ink Block's Siena condo is a stat about just how many rentals have been snatched up so far.
Of the Ink Block's 315 apartments, 88 percent have been rented. The first two of the three apartment buildings opened only this past winter, mind you, and studios ran north of $2,500 a month. Good luck out there.
