New, 1 comment

BULFINCH TRIANGLE—They say it's because of the high cost of land and labor: "Developer Related Beal is seeking controversial tax breaks — originally designed for affordable housing in 'blighted' areas — for its hotel and workforce/affordable housing project slated for Causeway Street, across from TD Garden." DOWNTOWN BOSTON—More public art to check out, this time at four spots along the Greenway through September: "The resulting installations include a 17-foot high landmark constructed from 350 custom-fabricated glass blocks, an interior space consisting of a series of chambers enclosed by resin-infused fiberglass, a field of 18 reconstituted wharf pilings that were recycled from a Boston Harbor shipyard, and a lattice-like intimate gathering space created from more than 1,000 wood and metal components."
