Leasing Brisk for Fenway's Van Ness and Its $3K Studios

New, 7 comments

When last we checked in earlier this month with Fenway's new Van Ness, the 172-unit apartment complex that includes the world's largest City Target (yup), it had just officially opened.

Around 30 percent of the apartments are already spoken for, a nice pace given that leasing started only earlier this year and the asking rents are, shall we say, rather hefty. However! The complex is offering one month free on 12-month leases signed before Aug. 31. That might have something to do with it. Otherwise, it would seem there are a lot tenants willing and able to pay $2,930 and up for a studio, never mind just under $5K or more for a 2-BR. Maybe that is it.
