The Federal-style townhouse at 22 Charles River Square in Beacon Hill dates from 1890, yet (of course) was recently renovated. The nine-room, 3,974-square-foot spread includes four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms as several fireplaces and parking right outside the front door. It hit the sales market in early March for $5,689,000, but was seismically price-chopped in June. Twenty-two Charles River Square dropped its price in early June to $5,295,000, a full $394K off the original asking and where it has rested since. Stay tuned.
