The five-story, 3,963-square-foot townhouse at 13 Rutland Square in the South End first dropped at the tail end of April asking $4,599,000. The 10-room, five-fireplace Venetian Gothic pile comes with "historically correct antique knobs," according to the original Luxury Homes listing, and new flooring to boot. There are also two radiantly heated parking spaces. The listing disappeared toward the middle of June and now is back with a sizable price-chop. Thirteen Rutland now wants a mere $4,450,000—or $149K off the initial price. The whole shebang last traded in August 2010 for $2,150,000.
