There are fewer more-ballyhooed new Boston buildings in recent memory than the 256-unit, 15-story Millennium Place condo in changing-forever-maybe-this-time Downtown Crossing. It's basically a country club planted smackdab in the middle of the city and it has never ceased to entertain. Case in point: the 2,313-square-foot Penthouse B, which dropped on Friday. For how much, exactly, you ask? The 3-BR, 3-BA spread, which includes a wrap-around terrace (with hot tub) and a solarium, is asking a mere $5,099,000—or $2,200 and change a square foot. Will it go for that or more? Or see a sharp price-drop right at the very, very end? Stay tuned.
