Maison Vernon Spread Asking Nearly $2K a Foot Nabs Buyer

New, 2 comments

Maison Vernon is a redevelopment of a Beacon Hill property at 39-41 Mount Vernon Street dating from the early 1830s. The seven-unit building oozes with French flourishes such as plaster moldings (because French = fancy, right?). One of its biggest spreads is Unit V (née 5). Rendered herein, it's 2,903 square feet and will include two fireplaces, three bedrooms, and three and a half bathrooms. There is a deal pending for it after nearly three months on the market with broker Beth Dickerson. Unit V is asking $5,695,000—or just over $1,960 a square foot. Stay tuned for the closing.
