MASS.-WIDE—State regulators are facing serious pushback re: rate hikes for homeowner insurance (which they say is due to the awful winter): "For the first time, the [Massachusetts Division of Insurance] will hold an informational hearing and listening sessions to explain how it approves rates. But customers want legal proceedings that require companies to present evidence that the rate hike is justified." [Globe]
