The first new downtown Waltham apartment complex in ages has started to open its doors to tenants. Recall that the Merc at Moody & Main is due to have 269 apartments in three five-story buildings with 27,595 square feet of retail to boot. Move-ins have commenced at the first of that trio, called 710 Main Street.
Leasing has been under way since April for the building's 87 apartments. Studios at the Merc in general start at $2,095 a month; 1-BRs at $2,445; 2-BRs at $2,845; and 3-BRs at $3,645. Above are shots from the model 1-BR that prospective tenants are seeing at 710 Main.
