There are all sorts of signs that both the Greater Boston for-sale and rental markets are cooling. Not crashing—cooling. And, while we're loath to cite one instance as evocative, we can't help but share the fate of this garaged parking space at 655 East 2nd Street in South Boston.
In late June, the owner of the space put it up for sale for $75,000. Fewer than three months later, on Sept. 15, it traded for $50,000, which some might see as a relative steal in the Thunderdome that is Boston parking.
