South Boston Hotel Developer; Hub Home-Hunting Emotions

SOUTH BOSTON—The city picked a developer for the 405-room hotel in the Boston Marine Industrial Park: "The project, which is still in the early stages, would be built on a 51,000-square-foot parcel located off of Summer Street. The hotel would include over 6,500 square feet of restaurant and retail space, 4,000 square feet of function space, and an indoor pool." [BRA]
HUB-WIDE—The region's housing market is an emotionally traumatic realm, isn't it? "Agents who have worked with clients who have lost multiple homes say part of their job is preventing desperate moves — waiving mortgage or inspection contingencies when it would be irresponsible to do so or offering too much."
