Stately 423 Beacon Street Finally Trades at Steep Discount

New, 1 comment

The 13-room, 3,817-square-foot townhouse at 423 Beacon Street was once asking as much as $3,950,000. And why not? The stately expanse has bones in the 1880s and as many as five bedrooms as well as accouterments such as a chef's kitchen, a stone patio and two parking spaces. The tag, however, descended steadily from that September 2013 peak, and the townhouse went on and off the market to boot. Now 423 Beacon has finally traded after last asking $3,495,000.
In a deal that closed Monday, 423 Beacon sold for $3,375,000. That's a full $575K off the original asking.
