Talk about adaptive reuse: The former International House of Pancakes at 1235 VFW Parkway in long-time Roslindale archrival West Roxbury is due to become a major (for the area, at least) apartment complex.
Developer Peter Davos first broached the conversion in the fall of 2015, and the Boston Redevelopment O.K.'d the project on Thursday evening. It will include not only those 84 apartment in a more than 126,000-square-foot complex, but also a rather astounding 126 parking spaces. Stay tuned for groundbreaking, rents, et al.
