Charles River Perch in Cambridge Goes for Six Figures Over

New, 3 comments

Everyone knows that Cambridge is one of the most competitive housing markets in the Greater Boston region, and the combined-unit 16A-B at 1010 Memorial Drive, one of the city's most coveted addresses, is but another example. Hammond's Charles Cherney listed the 2,195-square-foot 3-BR, 3-BA with a 28-foot-long living room and (obviously) voluminous Charles River views in late August for $2,600,000. It did not take long for the condo to move. Unit 16A-B closed last week for $2,704,000. That's $104K over the asking price and a high-even-for-Cambridge $1,185 a square foot.
