The 3,518-square-foot, nine-room Mansard Victorian at 378 Broadway in quiet Mid-Cambridge hit the sales market exactly a week ago. Although it was recently renovated, the 3-BR, 3.5-BA still retains some of the flourishes of its circa 1871 bones, including the crown molding and the detailing in the living-room fireplace. Interestingly enough, too, 378 Broadway is being sold as a condo even though it is a free-standing house. Ah, the vagaries of higher-end real estate. The house-sized condo is asking a rather precise $1,898,000, making it the most expensive listing introduced in Cambridge during the past seven days.
