Cambridge Loft Comes w/ Disco-Ball Chandelier, Naturally

New, 5 comments

The 1,300-square-foot Unit 102 at 147 Sherman Street in North Cambridge took fewer than two months to sell. The decisive selling point might very well have been the disco-ball-like chandelier in the living room/dining room/kitchen area of the 1-BR, 1-BA. Otherwise, the spread offered a capaciousness difficult to find in other parts of the People's Republic, with high ceilings and plenty of exposed infrastructure. There was also a W/D in the lone bath and plenty of storage in the bedroom. But that chandelier ... that's what did it. We're sure of it.
Unit 102 asked $449,000 when it dropped in late November. It went in the end for $491,000 in a deal that closed Tuesday.
