The 3,183-square-foot stately colonial at 39 Arlington Road on the Brookline side of Chestnut Hill last sold as recently as June 2013.
It went for $990,000 then and is now back on the market for a cool $1,790,000—substantially more than what it traded for a little more than three years ago (even when the 2013 price is adjusted for inflation).
The owners have updated the house, including the kitchen appliances and the first-floor windows. And the 4-BR, 3-BA looks in generally good nick otherwise.
Will it get $1,790,000? We’ll see what happens.
