Charlestown clapboard dating from 1865 drops for just over $1M

The clapboard antique at 18 Hill Street in oh-so-historic Charlestown hit the sales market through Re/Max on Oct. 13 for $1,065,000.

The 1,717-square-foot house dates from 1865 and was recently renovated. Said rehab left behind a gleaming, condo-like spread with four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, vaulted ceilings in the main bedroom, and the potential for an au pair-slash-in-law suite down below.

Plus, the exterior is positively adorable—almost custom-made for a pumpkin on the porch, eh?
