There is a tremendous difference between prices at the higher and the lower ends in South Boston right now, according to a new analysis of market-rate listings from real estate research site NeighborhoodX. Just look at the chart below (click to enlarge).
The five least expensive market-rate properties for sale in the non-Seaport-y portion of Southie are vastly less pricey than the most expensive. Lest you shrug, such a chasm is not always the case.
