Gut-renovated Somerville colonial drops for $1,400,000

Four-story spread traded for nearly half that a year ago

Oh, what a difference a gut-renovation makes.

The 3,064-square-foot colonial at 133 Powder House Boulevard just to the west of the similarly named Somerville square last traded in November 2015 for $786,000. It is now back on the market through Re/Max Destiny for a cool $1,400,000.

It’s that gut-renovation. Said process transformed the circa 1920 house into a gleaming, condo-like expanse of gleaming appliances and open spaces. The 4-BR, 5-BA includes a stone patio out back, too, and a yard.

Have a look-see.
