The first round of our annual Curbed Cup competition to select the year’s No. 1 neighborhood wrapped a couple of hours ago, and every higher seed won.
That includes No. 1 Assembly Row and No. 2 Upper Dorchester.
But! These wins set up a second round potentially rife with upsets. For instance, Assembly Row now faces No. 8 Fenway; and Upper Dorchester squares off against No. 7 Quincy Center, which we think is going to be the dark horse of this tourney.
Voting continues next week!
