Boston is the second-best U.S. city for sports lovers, behind only New York, according to a new analysis from financial website WalletHub.
The city scored particularly high for basketball and hockey fans, and pretty well for those enamored of football and baseball, too (soccer not so much—maybe a downtown stadium will make a difference).
The analysis gauged metrics such as the performance level of local teams and the number of sports bars. Check. And check.
